Link won Best Chef South for Herbsaint in 2007, got another win for his cookbook, and has been nominated for Outstanding Chef in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Per the Peche website. He is an owner and developed the restaurant concept, but I don't get the impression he works the Peche kitchen.

I agree, but he's a chef owner who is celebrated.
