I wake up and have 30 seconds until they get in? I reach behind my head and grab my street sweeper, walk to the door/window they are climbing in and blow them to hell as they enter. A much bigger fear would be waking up with them already in the house.

No kids, fiance in my bedroom. Tell her to go to the bathroom, give her my glock 19 and do not come out until I tell her a code word. I would then crouch in the corner with my AR-15 aimed at the door waiting for a dumbass to enter. If it is a cop, and he will announce himself as an officer.
