Exactly…no one would expect him to sound like he did 35 years ago, and to be fair, he never had great pipes, but he looked like he couldn't even keep up. it reminded me of really bad karaoke.

Exactly, but in reality, Dave's live act has never changed. Love him on the old albums, but I saw VH three or four times in the late 70's, early 80's, and he was exactly the same way live every time: never ever sang along or kept time with the music, forgot lyrics, made up lyrics, spoke the lyrics instead of singing them, etc. His voice is shot now without a doubt, and the dude is definitely weirded out. Heard some samples from the new live album (which I'll get regardless), and Dave was struggling, to put it nicely. It's a shame. Eddie looked great, sounded great, and the band was tight.
