Because part of the reason we have this college bubble and too many people with worthless degrees is because the working class became so looked down upon. If we hadn't made such a big deal about 4 year degrees, maybe some of those people that got worthless 4 year degrees would have gotten useful 2 year degrees/certificates instead and be living on their own instead of with their parents.
