The vortex people are def interesting
But all are usually still very friendly and very helpful if you have questions about Sedona.
Did a hike near a vortex once and heard a flute being played.....some hippie guy had climbed all the way to the top of this rock structure sitting cross legged playing the flute. We passed him by as he was walking down the trail and he handed out heart shaped red rocks to everyone to give us the "positive energy" of the vortex to take home with us![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Hiking is a must - beautiful area. Also go to the river and swim, jump off cliffs and slide down rocks - it is a fun time.
