Right. It's pointless to provide a response to this.

And the poor schools reason is a copout. If you're a halfway decent parent to your kids and make informed decisions your kids will be fine being educated in Louisiana.
Just not liking the state because of the people, not meshing w/ interests, etc. is a much better reason.

I'd say that is a valid reason to move if you are a parent and don't want to or cannot afford private school. It's pretty sad that in cities like BR...it's just accepted that the public schools are crap and you better either move out the city to a better school district or fork up the money for private.

Not fricking true at all. LA public schools are atrocious. Sure, you can spend a fortune on private schools. But, if you live anywhere other St. Tammany parish, the schools are shite.

Informed decisions and me raising my kid wont' prevent some thug motherfricker fricking with him because he is one of like 5 white kids in his class.
