Welter always played hard and he was bashed for making so many tackles after 10 yard gains. On those very plays, there were 2 or 3 other players that missed the tackle.

Did anybody actually watch the highlight video? Honest question. Because I just sat through 10 mins of "highlights" to figure what I already knew about him...that he was fricking terrible.
Who puts a "highlight" as the first play of you getting burned around the edge? Or you guarding a slot guy man to man, as the qb for auburn runs 35 yards in the opposite direction. Or, you screwed up your zone against tcu, however, you recover to make a tackle 12 yards downfield after the first down.
Is this a joke? I'm so happy he's a "great" kid. He obviously is not great enough to make grades so he doesn't miss an entire football season, but fantastic nonetheless. This is dumb, and people who are saying he is even average need to not comment on football
