So many variables that go into this. His outlook will depend on what type of cancer it was, what stage it was at, where in his brain it was, and what percentage of the tumor they were able to get.

brain cancer is never good... but it isnt actually a death sentence. It can be removed and not come back. It is possible, but also possible it could return, or be in other areas of his body. So many factors. As a believe i would just pray, and hope for the best. Cancer is a scary thing, but it doesnt always win
