to the OP, all the bay boats mentioned the most in this thread are not deep V boats and IMO cannot handle the bays adequately without a little more length. Your budget is enough to get you all you need and more (if you go used). If you are worried about spending money on gas, I can't see how you are willing to spend $32K on a boat.

I didn't know Mako made a 19 foot deep v. What model do you have? Do you have any issues fishing flat marsh?
That's just the max Im willing to spend. If I can get a used boat that Im looking for 23k of course I will jump on that first.
