If we get Shea Patterson, awesome. If not, oh well moving on... Cole Kelley looks like an awesome project for CC. Does anyone have any info on Lowell Narcisse from St James (2017)? How good is this kid? By the way I am all in with Felipe Franks, if he wants to be here more then the others we will be happy to take him.

I know its a long shot now, from the reaction of everyone freaking out. I really don't get it. So we miss out on Patterson. We have Franks, even swap in my book.

You better say extra prayers Rev because it's looking bleak...

The question is, can any of these guys just get the ball into the hands of the skill players and not try to do a bunch of fancy dancing? That's what LSU needs at QB right now. Also I'd like to see highlight tapes of guys making fast passes between defenders, or good fundamentals on out patterns. Seems like we've seen a lot of highlight vids of guys who can throw over the top to fast WRs who have height advantage.

I think OL play in the next few years will erase all our bad memories...

I agree, I want to see the 10 yard and outs, the frozen rope passes not the constant deep bombs. Franks film does show spots here and there that he has more then enough arm to accomplish those type of throws not just the deep ball.

Oh yeah? What kind of offense is his brain getting wired for? Standard LA HS system which prevents development of field vision and pocket presence, or the typical?
never mind...I found his HUDL....typical LS HS QB, but with above average run skills. Oregon should get in on him
Narcisse

Are we gonna go after Belton? Is he talented enough? Are his knees shot?

So as of right now all Narcisse is the man for 2017. Unless there is an athlete somewhere who can throw.

Long ways away.
Someone could pop up after this year not on the radar.

Then what will you say when Oregon develops him and he wins the Heisman??? I am so glad LSU does not have anyone like you on the staff.

So is Cole Kelley a must get now to go along with Franks?

Lowell is the next big thing.

I think Cole Kelley has one of the highest ceilings in the 2016 class.
He's got great leadership ability and is a really smart kid on top of being 6'7 240 throwing ropes across the field.

Kind of like a Zach Mettenberg? Although his coach does tend to run him quite a bit for a kid 6'7" 240

To this point Kelley is just a fan favorite. Have seen nothing to suggest we have real interest in him at this point. I like the kid myself but I just think the staff wants something different.
Narcisse is the man for 17 as of now. He could play other positions if necessary but I think QB is his spot. Staff loves him
