I want federal money dude. You get that with the drug war or some environmental study. Since I cant prove the deer have a drug problem I am going with this. The Bama deer are almost all Northern deer From Ohio and Pennsylvania since they killed 98% of the native deer in the 50's and had to repopulate them using these Northern deer. I know our deer heard traces back to these deer and are from pens in baldwin County. This really really fricks up the Bama rut as you have Ohio deer, Penn Deer, Native deer, Hybrid Ohio Native, Penn Native, Ohio Penn deer etc. I have buddies in Southern black belt that have deer ruts all over the place.

I have a theory that these non native deer are more sensitive to the temperature changes and Indian summers as they are not used to it genetically. I have seen Rut come to complete stop when you hit mid 70's here.

Seems to be less problem in Mississippi and Louisiana but i figured they would money too 6 senators better than 2 and we need a comparison. So I will count you out for the lat February tags.
