i can see already i'll get nostalgic when i hear them play soundbytes of his broadcasts in the future. i've been hearing that guy call LSU games since i was a kid. i remember him on the AM stations when we were driving back from the hunting camp on Saturday nights. i feel old now.

John Ferguson will always be " da man " for me, but Hawthorne is a Tiger through and through. I'll miss him....

Exactly. His voice signifies LSU, and broadcasts of games will not be the same.
