Why does the LSP only see a need to send extra troopers into the French Quarter during Mardi gras, what about the rest of the city where patrols are lighter because NOPD is in the quarter - they should be offering up the same resources all year long, especially if they think they deserve at 20% raise..

The quarter is the most important part of the city as far as tourism goes. Keep the thugs away, and everyone will feel safe enough to go and have a good time.
