Mingo was in the 205-210 range out of hs and had a bigger frame. Longer arms and longer legs.

Well people are saying Mingo was about 185 at this time in his high school career, pretty similar weight to what Chattman is now. Also I don't think arm and leg to torso ratio is a good indicator of a bigger frame (look pretty similar in that regard anyway FWIW). A good way to judge a frame is by shoulder width and more importantly, wrist diameter. Thick wrists on a skinny kid indicate large bones onto which muscle can easily be added as do larger shoulders. One thing about Mingo was that while he was very fast, he also played somewhat stiff and seemed to lack lateral quickness, which is OK for a DE but not so good for a LB. This kid looks much more fluid. He looks like a sure tackler but not a lot of eye popping knockout blows on his film, neither did Mingo. Remember Ryan Baker. Now that guy had some great high school highlights. Made a beeline through the blockers and met the RB with authority. Man was I pumped about getting him. Solid career, but never reached the level that I thought he would. It's just so hard to project but our coaches have been better than most (other staffs) at projecting these kinds of under the radar guys (Mathieu, Hester, Claiborne, and many more)
