[quote]They will be a Jr. and Sr. respectively. No way you can justify not playing each at least 25+ minutes.

Yea, hate to be the one to break this to you but this is the last level of competition before you are paid millions to play. They won't be handing out any participation awards at season's end and the best player will play regardless of what they've done in years prior. Should we tell Benny "Look man Darcy appeared to be capable of tying his shoes by the end of the '15 season so we are going to go ahead and let you two split time this year. Cool?"...

I agree. But TQ and Hornsby will be experienced guys who have proven that they can put up numbers at the college level. For as talented as Newman is expected to be, he still hasn't proven anything at the college level. Certainly if Newman is on the team you get him in the game, but most coaches would be reluctant to take guys who you KNOW can produce off the court for long stretches in favor of guys who you THINK can produce. The Malone analogy is stupid because unlike Horsby and TQ, Malone hasn't shown that he can do much at the college level. Newman would be in a spot where he would have to prove that he can consistently give you more than Hornsby/Quarterman. If he does, then he should be the starter
