Birdman is the only movie I've ever seen besides Highlander where, during my first viewing, I found myself eagerly anticipating scene transitions.
Bram Stoker's Dracula (Gary Oldman version) had some pretty good transitions as well...but didn't really grab me the first time through in the same way.
