I don't get how people think it went nowhere or nothing happened. What would you have preferred to see happen?

I don't either, and this type of criticism is becoming very prevalent on this board. This was a character driven movie and plenty happened with Michael Keaton's character. That is something happening. Are people going into every movie now expecting this epic action/adventure story?

I thought I was clear that I don't really fault the movie, it is what it is and has many great things.
