Blake Matherne ended up at Nicholls because he didn't have grades to get in most other places, he never played a down here because he never got qualified academically, not because he wasn't talented or was just a good high school player.
Right. Agreed. District MVP. Metro MVP. All state MVP. Nola All metro. LWSA and LFCA All-State teams. Not top 50????
