Inshore Saltwater Fishing Trip - Venice, LA.

I just recently won an inshore fishing trip for three for $300 at an auction. (good price? it's supposedly worth $850) I'm not sure when the best time to make a reservation would be for, can someone who's well versed in this stuff make a recommendation? I want to make a reservation ASAP so I can make sure my brothers are in town and able to go.
Been offshore fishing in Pensacola a while back, it was a blast. Looking forward to being out on the water again. If anyones curious, it's with Fishing Frenzy Charters and Capt. Frank Lawson.

Yeah that's a good price. The going rate is between $650 and $800 for most inshore charters out of Venice.
As far as timing, there's never really a bad time to fish out of Venice, there are always redfish cruising around the marshes and usually the trout are still stacked up in the river this time of year.
Call 'em up to schedule that trip and have a good time!

If you want trout I would go in June, wind is more predictable and river is normally falling or down by that time. If you want redfish you can go anytime doesn't matter. April and March have really gotten tough for trout with the erosion in a few trout hot spots over the years.
