How does L'Italiano compare to Giusseppie's?
Similiar. Neither as good as Chianti.
Put Strawns by Centenary on your list for a plate lunch sleepin pill.
I know Cantina Laredo is a chain, but their Cerviche is a good light lunch.
Some folks dig Silver Star's? & Country Taverns BBQ.
Jacquelines is a good lunch spot for sure.
For Great Raft and bar eating, might want to consider Zocolo. Im never goin back tho... Asked them one time if they had Red River, only to be answered "We dont serve that crap, we are a Great Raft supporter." Huh? How about support all the local products. I got up and walked out. Left a sour taste n my mouth. Wine Country is their more upscale sister restaurant. Its good, too. Sucks they gotta b that way... Hope the entire ownership/staff isnt.

Chianti's and L'Italiano are owned by three brothers and Giuseppe is owned by a cousin. Giuseppe is a newer building and a little more formal/white table cloth and are open for Sunday brunch. I like all three of them and you can't go wrong with any of them. Some posters loathe Giuseppe but I like it. All three of their cuisines are somewhat similar and are a little more northern Italian influenced than some of the other Sicilian restaurants.
