Any info on how this works out on a per capita basis? Would like to compare to other states.

Found this: La. Was number one in per capita for the period 2008-2013.

Louisiana is usually #2 per capita to Mississippi.
Might be reversed this year.

60 is a lot.

Louisiana has 40 listed in rivals. Bama has 30. That's the amazing thing and its true EVERY year.
Bama has more people and fewer good football players.

I hope one day I get the amount of free time needed to research what I'm about to ask....

I wonder if it's nature or nurture producing this talent?

For those unfamiliar, there's a debate going about whether the best players are those who are genetically gifted (lucky) or are they the kids who have been playing ball since they have learned to walk....

Probably a combination of both in louisiana
