re: You're lucky to have Les Miles instead of Nick Saban

Nick Saban gave the LSU program what it needed. A desire to win at a very high level. He left LSU and broke the fans hearts, most of whom felt deceived by Nick. He served a purpose and for that I am grateful. Now, however, he is an adversary,
Les came in and has maintained the program at a high level and has kept the cupboard full and even overflowing with talent. Now, he has my full support as LSU's coach.
LSU is lucky to have Les and to have had Nick. Both served different purposes. Nick reconstructed a program that had past success. Les has maintained that same program. Both have good points and both have flaws.

Like him or not Gerry Dinardo left LSU with an abundance of talent. Dinardo was a bad HC (Couldn't hire or keep good asst coaches) but he recruited well. I cringe when people say Nick built LSU. His first year we lost to UAB and unranked Rkansas.
Nick built on the talent base that was already at LSU and did the same at Bama. He is the best recruiter in college football. Beyond that, I contend he is average at best. Consensus #1 ranked recruiting classes the last 5 years will produce a lot of W's regardless of how effective a coach you are.

Not many other coaches have done it as good as Les has but these bayou radicals dont think right anymore and still want him out
