Shea likes what Hugh is selling him. Right now there is also a chance Shea's brother gets hired to a paid position there. LSU has no spots to offer a guy who is an unproven coach on their staff, nor can they just create one.
There is a long way to go until NSD 2016. I wouldn't panic yet on SP.
Ole Miss offense does suit his game, but i'm pretty sure our staf will do everything they can to get him to BR.

They could just create a position, e.g. Assistant Deputy Offensive Quality Control Director. They have done it with a bunch of other non-coaching coaches.

He has a paid position at LSU and Ole Miss hasn't fired any of the assistant coaches they have on staff. So if they do offer him a job, most likely it will be similar to what he's doing at LSU. At best that's a lateral move, but not when you consider Cameron's success at coaching NFL QB's.
Plus people need to realize that Sean Patterson was hired at LSU because of his potential as a coach. He could very well have a long successful coaching career. Sean choose LSU over several big schools.
