Montana had Rice for two Super Bowls. Brady had Moss for two Super Bowls and what happened?
See above post, when all is said and done, Brady will have played with more HOF than Montana, especially looking on the defensive side. The talent issue can just be pointed back to Rice. Montana had a decent tight end in Clark during first two titles. Brady has Gronk. I'd rate Edelman, Welker, Troy Brown over Montana's John Taylor

No way. No freaking way.
Taylor would have been a 1 on about 20 other teams.
As far as talent I think the Niner's that won the Super Bowl in Detroit is a lot like the Patriots this year. Question is could a young Brady, like Montana was, lead that team to a SB. I do not think so, but I wont bet against him anymore.

FIFY.

Clark was a WR and he was better than decent. He was an All-Pro receiver whose number has been retired in San Francisco. Freddie Solomon was another WR Montana had at his disposal in his first two Super Bowls who was more than decent. Charle Young was an aging, but great, TE that Montana had at his calling when his other receivers were covered up. He was an All-Pro throughout the 70s and also had multiple Pro Bowl appearances.
