This is the OT so I know most of y'all live in 12 bedroom mansions, but is this really common?
I have no idea what's common, but my wife and I own a 3,500 sq ft home with 4 bedrooms and we don't even have kids yet, so take that for what it's worth.
Of course, we wanted a 2,800 sq ft house... just couldn't get a bank to loan us the money to build one... Had to build a bigger one. Which makes no intuitive sense, but is reality.
Anyway, who gives a shite?
