Anyone ever read red storm rising by Tom Clancy?

I know it's fiction, but his fiction is always very plausible. Desperate countries do desperate things to claw back to supremacy. Their economy is tanking, doesn't mean they won't try to start shite just to get some concessions from West.

I read it right after I got to Germany back in 88. it was an awesome book but considering where I was, it also scared the shite out of me.

His fiction is plausible?

Which part, where Japan invades U.S. territory using commercial airlines, where Prince Charles helps Jack Ryan subdue terrorists, or where we turn Jerusalem into a Vatican like state policed by Swiss Guards?

Yeah, almost like ripped from the headlines.

Putin's actions are similar to little kids that are around doing silly little shite to get on your nerves, simply for the sake of getting on your verves. Unfortunately, there is a majority of the citizenship in Russia who get that picture in their head of Putin riding on top of a Grizzly Bear like a boss when they hear about this.

Me, I think it's hilarious and at most, ballsy.
