So I guess they didn't show the rest of that. Where the green arrow used a kryptonite arrow to help Batman. And then Batman fakes his death and the Man of Steel goes along with it.

The point of the clip is to prove that a man made weapon (Batman's kryptonite suit) could kill Superman.
