Sons of Liberty - History Channel

Has anyone watched this? I've watched all but the last episode so far. It's ok. I find the acting a little weak, but i love the history. However, it does appear that the history channel took many liberties with historical facts. As i watch each episode, i start to second guess the facts presented, and wonder how much is sensationalism. Kind of takes away from the story. Being that it's the "history channel" you'd think they'd vie for historical accuracy.

There's another thread about Sons of Liberty, probably on pg 2 or 3.
If you think the historical inaccuracies are bad in the first two episodes, wait until you see the finale! It's a decent show and I enjoyed it, but like most they say in Hollywood, it's BASED on a true story.

The thread is on page 3 and if you haven't seen the last episode, it contains spoilers.

I like historical docs much better than the reenactments. Sam Adams as an action hero is a bit lame.

I searched "sons of liberty" and nothing came up. I think the search hamster died a long time ago.

Not the first time History has done it. Won't be the last time. They took a lot of liberties in The World Wars, too.
