The Causeway used to be fairly strict on speed. The rep was anything over 5 was going to get you a ticket.

Now, their (Commission) sole existence is to spend as much money as quickly as possible.
In typical Louisiana fashion, we do nothing about it.

Definitely not the case anymore. I reverse commute the causeway on the reg and I set my cruise at 72 mph the entire time, never slowing down at crosswalks and have never received a ticket/had them flash their lights at me/etc.
