He used to walk the lakes with my landlord, a retired pharmcist. Fr. Than would say to him "you are blessed with the gift of sweat" because his skin type did not facilitate sweating, keeping him hot. I think of that every year when the heat is unbearable "at least I have the gift of sweat!"

RIP

He married my wife and I about 5 years ago. I didn't like the guy, personally.

I really enjoyed his masses at CKC in college. He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by the BR community. No doubt he made it straight into Heaven no questions asked

I liked him. He was at St. Theresa when I went to school there.

My favorite priest while I was in school. I had a few short but memorable conversations with him when Id study for finals in the ctk library, he was never too busy to shoot the shite with you.

Fr. Than always had a great story to tell. His message often helped to pick me up during rough times in school. Such a sad way to go.

I remember being so impressed by him at CTK when he'd never look down to read the gospel. Made a mean jambalaya too. RIP
