quote:ABC: "Show and episode availability are subject to change. Only the ABC live stream and the most recently aired episode require a participating TV provider account."
So with the Roku, I am able to watch all the new shows from ABC/CBS/FOX/NBC the day after the air live?
CBS: Apparently going the subscription route for streaming, $6/month I believe.
FOX: "If you don't see your provider or you don't have one, don't fret - new episodes unlock 8 days after broadcast!"
NBC: "No login required for access to episodes of certain new series, including BLINDSPOT, HEROES REBORN, CHICAGO MED and more. Plus, with a TV provider login, you can watch new episodes of every show the day after they air and binge on complete seasons of select series."
So the networks seem kind of all over the place as far as streaming goes. Personally, I prefer an antenna + OTA DVR so I don't have to worry about waiting 8 days, paying CBS, or worrying which series NBC decides to stream. And some DVRs like the Tablo have a Roku app, so you can watch your recordings without switching inputs or UI.
