I just started this as a hobby a couple of weeks ago, and I gotta say it's fun as hell. I've found 11 geocatches so far, and I purchased some materials to make a couple of my own.

I need to get into that again. That was really fun when I did it. It helps you find places that you didn't know existed. I found one in a graveyard that I didn't even know existed in a small town of 10,000 people that I lived in my whole life
Coolest one I found was in a pill capsule tucked up in a crack inside of a mining cave that we had to bushwack up a creek for an hour for. Never would have known that mining cave existed either.
