Would Martin be a 1st Rounder after playing with Blakeney and Simmons?

After watching last night's game, it looks like AB would be the best shooter on this team... right now. Simmons at the 3 would change the dynamics of the entire team. He's got range to stretch the D and enough size to take it inside.
With those 2 in our line-up, I could see the entire team getting much more publicity and I could see Martin benefiting. With another year to develop, I think Martin has mid-first round potential. He has the size and sometimes shows the skills to be a productive 4 in the NBA. For those that think that he has a chance to be a 3...think about the bad asses across the league in that position. He's not fast enough. If he wants to make it in the NBA he needs to look to dominate on the inside first. How many 3's did he take during those first games? I believe that he was 1/19 at one point.
My point is that Martin couldn't hand pick 2 better guys to play with next year. Two great shooters and one of the best passers in a looong time.

It all depends on how hard he works. The greatest players of all time were some of the hardest workers at improving themselves.

Seriously I hold my breath every time he tries to dribble under the basket.
Just hold the ball and shoot

I mean, he'd probably be a 2nd round pick this year, so maybe.

Since Simmons is coming out he would be behind him. But I think he is a first rounder this year.

He has to get tougher and more physical, also gain more strength. He has good handle for his size, he's athletic, has a good jumper. Needs to get a mean streak on the defensive side. JMO

It could only help him. His limitations now are many. If he would continue to work hard to improve he could get in the bottom of the first round next year IMO
