Baseball should be about strategy. That is what makes it so wonderful. You have to constantly make adjustments to what is thrown at you to try to produce a run. You both have the options to align your 7 defensive guys however you please.. Why should that change. Baseball is about tendencies. You align your guys where you think he will hit it.. Then it's on the batter to not hit it there.. Make them pay.
I hate the idea or more restrictions and rules.

Is this what baseball is going to say to all of the younger generations? Because a lot of the younger generation really isn't too interested in the game, compared to younger generations of the past.
If so, then that's a horrible strategy.
