I just didn't like Jenny in Forrest Gump. What she chose to do in her lifetime and what Forrest chose are in opposite end of the spectrum. She didn't have any redeeming quality.
Leutentant Dan was a great character. He should've had his own movie.

I like SIL so SIL beating Private Ryan doesn't bother me. Other than the beginning of the movie, I don't even like Ryan.
I think the bigger snub was Samuel Jackson losing to Martin Landau.
Finally saw Selma and I don't think it should be nominated for Best Picture so if it wins, then someone got snubbed good. Boycott is a far superior MLK movie.

She was abused and probably raped by her father. It's fair to assume that messed with her throughout life.
