yea, it seems like Vane has been the craziest, baddest mofo around before ole one eye showed up and Charley seems to be fine as long as he's allowed to sleep with Eleanor.
plus they had Captain Hornigold running security and the Guthrie name hadn't yet been run into the ground so there was good reason for pirates to stay under control before.
