Both Denver and Austin are overrated. Not that they are terrible cities, it's just people act like they are the end all be all of cities and rate them so extremely high.

Denver is cool because of skiing and mountain stuff

Austin is so full of itself. "keep Austin weird" is pretty gay.

Oddly never been to either. Flew through Denver once on the way to Vegas and it did look like a pretty awesome location.
I will admit I have a great affinity for "The West."
Going to probably hit up that area a lot here in the next few years.
