You have the right to smoke, but you also have the right to breathe fresh air. You should not be allowed to smoke around the general public.

and this isn't a debate about smokers. this is a debate about property rights

a private place is not "the general public"

you have to choose to go into that area and you have the choice NOT to go into that area.

I'm coming way late into this discussion, and I'm sure it's already been said.

But a huge "lol" @ New Orleans being worried about cigarette smoke. Talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water.

So the solution is to make them smoke on the street where they are a lot more likely to encounter the general public?
