How do you just drop a 4*star like that? Just has to be more to the story then "It's just a nasty business".

I think it's what the articles are stating, Tennessee signed about 32 last year and are going to get about 28-29 this year. They're at 27 with letting him go.

Either way, I hope we get in on him since we need DEs in this class

Don't know anything about this kid or whethet there is any interest from him or LSU, but It certainly did work out well for us when Bama spurned Kwon, and very well for Arky when Bama spurned Philon. Man, recruiting can be brutal on both sides.

Coaches' evaluations don't always line up with those of recruiting sites. Remember Christine Michael, the RB at A&M? He was a 5 star on Rivals but LSU and Florida both passed on him.

There is no more to the story. Tennessee needs OL and hoping to flip Richmond and get Allen I believe.

Mullen pulled Chason Virgil's (a 3 star Texas QB) commit just 16 days before he would graduate (he was an early enrolle). That happened just a couple months ago. They initially pushed for him to graduate early then 16 days before his graduation they ask him to greyshirt.

Weird that he only had like 2 SEC offers. Alotta up north schools on him to say he's a Florida guy. Plus no big Florida schools on him either just the U.

It could be a lot of things.

From the looks of it, Tennessee has more commitments than scholarships, which should be illegal. We as fans are quick to chastize kids for flipping on commitments, but nothing is said when a coach decides to pull a scholarship offer or leave for another job.
