That's because they weren't using the original recipes. Not that the food was 5 star or anything, but they used inferior ingredients when they came back to New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

Also, Panchos was always cafeteria style service and you used the flag for refills. The new way was a buffet feed trough and it was disgusting watching Mana Cass roll up and sneeze on the enchiladas.

They got it wrong on both of these fronts and failed because of it. You could definitely taste the difference in several of the food items.

I ate at one in Tucson a long time ago and I distinctively remember the food sucking A LOT.
