You could easily make the argument that the Cavs would be better right now with Wiggins and Bennett instead of Love.

The Cavs lost a game down to the wire a few days ago in Phoenix. Love's +- was -20 and he didn't play down the stretch.

I know this isn't a perfect comparison because of the differences in team talent, but if you look at a a stat like real plus minus (RPM), it doesn't really support your assertion.

Love's Offensive Real Plus Minus (ORPM) is 1.74; his Defensive Real Plus Minus (DRPM) is -.06; so his RPM is 1.68.

Wiggins's ORPM is -.145; his DRPM is -1.01; and his RPM is -2.46.

Bennet's ORPM -2.74; his DRPM -2.03; and his RPM is -5.42.

Even though these stats are meant to isolate an individual's PM accounting for the teammates on the floor and players from the opponent on the floor, it's still not perfect because some teams are just considerably better than others.

That being said, Bennet's stats are too bad to ignore.
