Mississippi State was the first big school to show him interest and then they had a decent season. That's where the interest comes from. He'll get a chance to see what other schools have to offer and likely change his mind. I could be wrong, but i dont think he has any real connection with MSU or anything.

Its a bull shite thing to do by a group of people whose life is not being effected by the decision. Hs coaches have a huge purpose in recruiting and should be given credit for their contributions but they should also know their place and not allow personal feelings to get involved when it isn't their decision to make.

The majority if not all of DS staff are LSU fans, so its not like they're blackballing the LSU program or anything. But when one player gets burned by LSU, they're going to be cautious the next go-round. Same thing happened in the 90's when Tennessee did something similar to a DS player.
Im sure it happens everywhere.
