My wife and I are both doing the loan repayment programs. I did mine with the feds, 3 yrs with the NHSC and she is doing hers through the state (Louisiana).
the federal program was a little easier to navigate than the state has been, although my wife has just 1 person that handles her "case" and i didnt really deal with any people. She's also doing the 10yr loan forgiveness and has 91 payments left.
By taking advantage of the Loan Repayment programs and the 10yr forgiveness, we're hoping to not have to use any of our earned income towards students loans. It took us about a year to figure out the rules of this game but i think we've got it now.

For nursing? Any tips on the rules of the game?
