Uhhh, OK, sure...but he had a 5 year deal to start. Try getting one of those now (new rookie wage scale). So the Packers got at least 2 years out of him starting, at backup prices....and his second extension deal wasn't that big, either. Whatever dude.... The point is that prior to 2013 they were paying Rodgers even less than Brees, back when Brees was considered a steal.
