Dandy Don website reported this morning that Ash and LSU have strong mutual interest.
"Now that the college football season is officially over, I predict that reports of talks between LSU and Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash will soon surface. I heard last week that there was strong interest there, but didn’t repeat it out of respect for Ash who was still preparing the Buckeyes for last night’s game. Ash may not be a well known name, but his résumé is very impressive. (See his Ohio State bio.) Being that Ash currently makes just over $500K as a co-coordinator, LSU’s job would obviously represent a big pay raise for him."
