When this movie came out in '86, if you were anywhere from 8-20 years old Ferris Bueller was the coolest guy to ever hit the screen.

Well, I was Ferris Bueller's age when this movie came out. I am a true child of the 80s. While the movie was fun, I absolutely couldn't stand Ferris Bueller. I saw him as an over privileged, entitled, annoying a-hole.

He would have most definitely gotten his arse kicked on a daily basis at my high school. I did not identify at all with Ferris Bueller. Not one bit. Why was he so freewheeling and didn't give a shite? Because his daddy would have gotten him out of any trouble he got into with no problem.

frick Ferris Bueller.
