I know; I went there last year for the ASU-ND game. Inside the stadium was a ton of fun, but the surrounding trip and tailgating... not so much. It was basically the opposite of the NCG against Bama the year before.

ETA: Even if it was in the city itself and not Arlington, I don't think Dallas is a city you really think of when you think vacation. Pro Player/Joe Robbie/Dolphins Stadium/Shark Tank/Whatever it's called isn't near South Beach or downtown Miami, it was still awesome to hit up South Beach the day before. I feel like Dallas isn't really like that.

LSU tailgating there was fun each time I've been, but there's nothing to do after. especially at night.

Arlington was kinda meh, but I liked Dallas . Was there for the Cotton Bowl, just too bad the weather sucked arse . Although I did my sightseeing/exploring after the game. I didn't get into the Metroplex until late new year's eve.

oh yea, definitely. Dallas doesn't have the scene that Miami or New Orleans have. it would definitely be much better than Arlington though.
