As always, Nino's menu looks fantastic.
I have to say.. there are a lot more participating restaurants than in the past. I don't remember Mansur's being part of it. And their chargrilled oysters are one of the "first course" offerings
Hell yes.

Had the Chelseas one last night:
Crawfish balls
Grilled Chicken Breast
Cheesecake
It was delicious. Especially the crawfish balls which arent even on the menu.

Not to burst your bubble, but they have crawfish cakes, which are the same thing in a different shape
But yes, tehy're delicious.

I guess you are right. Maybe I just like putting balls in my mouth.

I encourage everyone to hit up Zorba's. Best greek food around, in my opinion.

Why would his bubble be burst? I'd imagine the poster would like to know that an item he really enjoyed was regularly available.

Went to Oscars last night.
Me and my gf had:
Charcuterie plate
Spinach and artichoke dip
Panzanella
Caesar salad
The boss 7" pizza
Margherita 7" pizza
And some chocolate pie ice cream
Everything was fantastic. We wanted to try the arancini as well, but they had run out by the time we got there. Service was fantastic as well, given how busy they were.

Probably going to try Oscar's tonight. It was $15 right? If so, hell of a deal.

The past few years, people have complained that some restaurants don't offer anything special for RW (and I totally agree with them), so I was just saying the crawfish cakes are unfortunately not specially made for RW. (Or fortunately, if you really like them)

Wanted to try this tonight too.. An appetizer, a salad, and a personal pizza or veal parm.
I like to try the places that don't do dessert since I don't like dessert much.
But my date wants to get the new $5 burger and fries Tuesday special at Olive or Twist, so I'll be doing that instead.

A coworker went to Oscars last night and they are apparently under new ownership and will soon be called Souga's or something. They are keeping the menu and adding to it, some of the new stuff is already being offered.
We went to Little Village and it was incredible. Had the arancine, filet with shrimp and hollaindaise, and the canoli. I think I spelled all of that wrong but it was delicious. Most tender filet I may have ever had.
Oh, if you go to Chelseas you must order the French Silk Cake. It is heaven. I go just for the dessert.

Isn't Oscar's owned by the Nino's people though?

The wife and I were there as well.
I was a little disappointed in the spinach and artichoke dip... it was a little too thin for the breadsticks they served it with.
The pizzas were delicious as always.

That's what I thought.
I love their all-day Thursday happy hour.

I haven't been to oscars in over a year, but their chocolate ice cream is THE best.
