Does pot really help with those medical conditions?

or is pot used as an escape for people who are diagnosed with said conditions?

It helps nausea a lot, which is huge for chemo patients.

It also helps migraines, insomnia, and general pain. The other things prescribed for those things are addictive. Marijuana is not. The opiate addiction in this country is an epidemic and this is one way to help with that.

Also, the oil derived from it has shown to drastically reduce seizures in epileptics.

I have yet, in my life, heard a good reason to criminalize marijuana for consenting adults. Not one. Its not addictive, its not a "gateway" drug if you obtain it legally, it has very few negative side effects, doesn't make people crazy drunks (opposite actually), if vaped or eaten it has basically no negative side effects, etc.

Its absolutely ridiculous and pitiful at the same time that our country is has criminalized it so much.
