Because they don't know for sure and neither do I. I don't make the decision. I'd be happy if it was someone other than brick. I'm just telling yall what I've been told from a friend. There isn't a lot to choose from out there that a) is good b) les trusts c) is established recruiting down here d) the rest of the defensive staff wants as a boss.

That makes no sense. Your source knows and Ott and Hanagriff know that Shoop isn't interested in LSU but Miles and Alleva don't? Why would they waste their time interviewing him in that case? Especially since Miles wants Brick so badly. If anyone wants Brick it's Alleva. He could pay him less than any serious candidate and have tons of money to put O on staff.

There is plenty out there which claims that Stoop is "highly interested" in the LSU position and plenty more claiming Penn State won't engage in an SEC bidding war.

It's a done deal that its brick at this point unless someone comes in and wows them, which is not likely. Right now they are concentrated on getting Bebe but ole miss is in his ear big time

I suspect it's because Miles and Aleva have nothing better to do than waste time and money on interviews with people they KNOW don't want the job. What else do they have to do?
